As a means to promote the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) technologies and programs within its vicinity, the DOST LED Promotional Board (DLBP) was constructed on the DOST grounds in 2018.
To date, the DLPB has been featuring developed and funded DOST technologies which are beneficial to stakeholders including micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs, policy makers, and the general public.

By disseminating information on these breakthroughs and initiatives, it can build strong collaboration and partnership for future endeavors concerning developmental issues that can be addressed by science, technology, and innovation (STI).
The DLPB is a product of a joint alliance between the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) and the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) through the Development of Science and Technology Promotions through Integrated Marketing Solutions (DOST-PRISMS).
“We hope that this simple below-the-line marketing strategy as a permanent outdoor board can deliver maximum exposure of what we do in the DOST system,” said Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena, Officer-in-Charge of DOST-TAPI.
DOST agencies, partners, and inventors previously assisted by the Department through its programs as well as other beneficiaries of DOST projects or programs may post their announcements on the DLPB.
STI-related events or pronouncements including weather updates and disaster risk mitigation news are encouraged to be a part of the public information awareness campaign.
