To provide a uniform understanding of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)’s intellectual property (IP)-related policies, the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) launched a series of information dissemination in North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) successfully facilitated an increase in annual intellectual property (IP) application filings from 2015 to 2021.

The IP filings, within the local and international scene, are powered by the “Support to the Commercialization of 500 DOST-Generated Technologies” or DOST 500.
