The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) spearheaded the first online DOST Researchers’ Conference on October 16, 2020.

The online conference gathered researchers and technology generators from the sectoral councils and research development institutes.

In its determined effort to promote the valuation of intellectual property (IP), the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) advanced its collaboration and capability building efforts under the DOST 500 Project.

As an essential element in technology transfer, IP valuation is a method to generate the financial value of an IP.

The IP Valuation Manual was revealed during the opening of DOST-TAPI’s HIRANG Internship Program on 27 January 2020 at Hotel Jen Manila
